	Our Mission To ensure optimal dental health for San Diego County communities.

The Dental Health Initiative - Share the Care is a public-private partnership between the County of San Diego Health and Human Services Agency, the San Diego County Dental Society, and the San Diego County Dental Health Coalition. We have two main goals:

To provide access to emergency dental care for children who qualify for the program.
To offer information and education to professionals, parents, and children to foster ongoing preventive dental care.

Serving communities of San Diego County since 1994, Share the Care is primarily a grant-funded program. It has received recognition for its excellence by the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Dental Association, and the American Dental Hygienists' Association.
